Professorship at the HKA

Practical experience is essential!

A professorship at a university of applied sciences (UAS) does not require a habilitation. Compared to a university professorship, universities of applied sciences emphasize practical experience. After all, it is important for the education of students to optimally combine theory and practice.

Self-determined research and teaching

Set your own focus in a multidisciplinary environment. Research and teaching offer a wide range of varied activities. Flexible working hours make a professorship particularly attractive to enable a good work-life balance.

Advantages of a professorship

  • High value for society and a fulfilling activity
  • Working with the times
  • Support young people in their professional and personal development
  • Adequate financial compensation
  • Secure workspace in civil service employment
