Requirements for a UAS professorship

Academic and professional

Completed university studies
Proof of special ability for scientific work, usually a doctorate
At least 5 years of professional experience after graduation, including at least 3 years outside of academia

Subject-specific and personal

Expert knowledge in a scientific subject
Experience in teaching (didactic skills)
Research affinity (demonstrated by publications and third-party funding)
Leadership experience
Ability to give lectures in English language
International experience is advantageous
