Literature supply and learning spaces
The library of the HKA is a branch library of the KIT Library and is responsible for the supply of literature within the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. The Campus-Card serves as a library card. This must be registered for use and activated on site.
Lending and literature search
Here is the most important information on how to use the library and the rules of the game. All other services, such as literature searches in the KIT catalogue, can be found via a separate section of the KIT librarywebsite.

Library services at the HKA available again
The new library counter is located in the data center user service in room LI-135 and serves as a temporary solution, as building A remains closed after the fire last year.
Although the majority of the library's holdings will remain in Building A, media can be ordered via the KIT catalog and picked up at the new counter. Other central services such as interlibrary loan collection, borrowing and returning, fee payment and the processing of discharge confirmations and exmatriculation applications are also possible on site.
Consultations and training courses on scientific research and reference management (Zotero) will continue to take place both online and in person.
The library desk is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (except public holidays). The team is also available for inquiries by e-mail at fbh or by phone at +49 721 925-2866 / -2864. @bibliothek.kit.edu
