Course sequence
After studying the first four semesters of the Bachelor's program in International Management at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA) you will do an internship in the fifth semester. Following this, you will spend the sixth and seventh semesters at Queen Margaret University (QMU) in Edinburgh. In the eighth semester, you will take courses in Human Resource Management, New Enterprise Creation and Financial Markets and Institutions. In the seventh semester, you will take the courses Project Management, Research Methods and Skills and Entrepreneurial Finace at QMU. In the eighth semester, you will write your bachelor's thesis at HKA. You will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in International Management from HKA and a BA (Hons) in Business Management from QMU.
How do I apply?
At the time of application, you should meet the following requirements:
- You are enrolled in the Bachelor's degree program in International Management and have already completed at least 120 ECTS credits in theory-related modules (not counting internship semester) at HKA.
- Completed basic studies in International Management
- Average grade of at least 2.5 in your advanced studies
- English language proficiency: Language certificate B2 under CEFR
- Motivation for the study program

Language of instruction
Modules at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences are held in German or English, modules at QMU in English.
Costs
QMU publishes its tuition fees and other costs annually according to the academic calendar. To apply for a suitable funding program, we therefore recommend that you check the current fees directly on the QMU website.
