The IRP is involved in interdisciplinary research in robotics and artificial intelligence on the HKA2030+ campus. The IRP has access to robots from various manufacturers, including industrial robots and cobots, as well as gripping systems, force-torque sensors, and 2D and 3D camera systems. We also have access to a variety of machine tools. Modern rapid control prototyping systems, powerful control computers, and access to a GPU server enable us to design algorithms for a wide range of applications, from microcontrollers to the cloud. The research area also offers a fully equipped workshop.
