Integrated Study Program in Geodata Science (IPG): The Faculty of Information Management and Media offers a two-year bi-national Master’s degree program in cooperation with the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Students get the chance of spending, as a rule, one year at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and one year at the Spanish partner university in Valencia. Graduates receive their Master’s degrees from both universities. German students need to be registered for the International Master’s program in Geomatics.

Practical Experience
Working as a student employee (“studentische Hilfskraft” or “Werkstudent:in”) while studying not only provides income but also valuable practical experience. In some cases, this opens up the opportunity to write your master’s thesis at the company. The Karlsruhe area is home to a wide range of employers in relevant fields, such as the many surrounding cities and municipalities or the high-tech companies in the region. There is no mandatory internship during the master's program.
Semester abroad
Students in the master’s program can also take courses at universities abroad, e. g. with the INGENIUM program. The International Office provides advice on the various options for studying abroad, the transfer of course credits, and financing your stay.
