Space for Research

The research room at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences is coordinated by Prof. Dr. Andreas Wagner.

It is a modern workspace designed for academic staff and student assistants involved in research projects. The space fosters a creative environment that promotes collaboration and the exchange of ideas across different projects.

Academics and students work together to address current research challenges, particularly those arising from externally funded projects led by professors in Faculty W.

The research room is equipped with:

  • Four fully equipped workstations for research assistants
  • Four fully equipped workstations for students
  • Six flexible "bring-your-own-device" workstations
  • A meeting area with two monitors and advanced technology for hybrid meetings and presentations
  • A whiteboard for interactive discussions and visualizations
  • A GPU server for advanced machine learning and AI applications
  • Variable hardware from ongoing research projects
  • A coffee machine for breaks

The research room provides an optimal infrastructure for scientific work. With modern hardware, software, and a comfortable work environment, it supports students across all disciplines.

The "Space for Research" supports all researchers at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics as well as other interested parties.
